Al Quran Academy was formally founded in 1992 and since its inception, has dedicated over a quarter of a century to the field of Quranic research, having published more than 150 books on the Holy Quran and Seerah. Some major works include the publication of the world’s first Nepali translation of the Holy Quran, a hugely popular simple Bengali translation of the Holy Quran, Bengali translations of Syed Qutb Shaheed’s monumental tafseer “Fi Zilalil Quran”, “Tafseer Ibn Katheer” by Hafiz Imad Uddin Ibn Katheer, and the Bengali translation of Ar Rahiqul Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar).

A recent noteworthy addition to our publications is “My Cherished Quran Majeed” or “Amar Shokher Quran Majeed“- a subject-wise colour-coded edition of the Holy Quran. Published in English and Bengali versions, this is the first of its kind in the history of one thousand years of Quran publication.

Over the past 25 years, Al Quran Academy Publications has always strived to make reading and understanding the Holy Quran an easy and simple process. We have constantly tried to find innovative ways to bring simplicity and beauty to our publications without sacrificing authenticity or accuracy. Projects such as our attractive colour-coded Tajweed Quran is an example of this.
